Mori Plants grew out of a belief that everyone should have more nature in their home — but most people don’t know where to start or which plants will actually survive their lifestyle and environment.
The project combines curation, education, and community to make indoor plants approachable for beginners and rewarding for enthusiasts.
What it offers
A curated selection of indoor plants paired with honest, practical care guides — not the generic advice found elsewhere, but plant-specific guidance written for real homes, real light conditions, and real schedules.
Core pillars:
- Curated shop — a focused range of plants chosen for resilience, beauty, and adaptability to indoor life
- Care guides — detailed, plain-language guides for every plant, covering light, water, humidity, and common problems
- Plant pairings — suggestions for grouping plants by aesthetic and care requirements
- Community — a space for plant owners to share progress, ask questions, and discover new varieties
The thinking behind it
The plant industry online tends toward either mass-market generic shops or niche collectors. Mori Plants sits in between: a brand with taste and personality, built for people who want to live with plants but don’t want to become hobbyists.
The name — Mori, from the Latin silva or the Japanese concept of forest — evokes that feeling of calm and aliveness that a well-tended plant brings to a room.
Design & brand
Clean, nature-forward aesthetic with a focus on photography and editorial content. The brand is warm but minimal — letting the plants speak for themselves.
