Short version
This site has no analytics, no tracking cookies and no advertising. The only personal data I get is what you choose to type into the contact form — and I use it to reply to you and nothing else.
Who is responsible
Diogo Figueiredo, independent consultant based in Lisbon, Portugal. You can reach me at diogo@knokio.com.
What I collect
- Contact form: your name, your email address, optionally your company and team size, and the message you write. Name, email and message are required; company and team size are optional.
- Nothing else. There is no account, no newsletter, no profiling and no third-party marketing.
Why I have it
To read your message and answer it. The legal basis is the steps you ask for before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and my legitimate interest in replying to people who contact me (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Where it goes
- Tally (Tally Solutions BV, Belgium) hosts the contact form. Submissions are stored on Tally’s infrastructure and delivered to my inbox by email. See Tally’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare serves and protects this site as its hosting provider, and processes technical request data (such as IP address) for that purpose.
- Google reCAPTCHA protects the form from spam. It may set cookies and is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
- I never sell your data, and I do not share it for advertising.
Cookies
This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The embedded form keeps a draft of your answers in your own browser so you do not lose what you typed, and reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies to tell humans from bots. If you block them, the form still works.
How long I keep it
For as long as our conversation is active and, if we end up working together, for as long as the law requires me to keep records. After that it is deleted. You can ask me to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. You can also object to how I use it, or ask for it to be restricted or ported elsewhere. Write to diogo@knokio.com and I will act on it.
If you are not satisfied with my answer, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
